Fanta makes over 100 flavors around the world, and most of them never make it to the US. That's literally why I started hunting them down for Yum At Hart — because once you taste what the rest of the world gets, there's no going back.
So I did the hard work and ranked the rare ones we carry. Here's my totally official, extremely scientific list:
#8: Fanta Fruit Twist (UK)
Starting us off with a UK classic. It's a blend of orange, apple, and passionfruit — basically what would happen if regular Fanta went on vacation. Solid, crowd-pleasing, and a great "first rare Fanta" if you're new here.
#7: Fanta Cassis (France)
Blackcurrant Fanta. I know, it sounds weird. It tastes like a fancy French soda had a baby with a grape soda — deep, dark, a little tart. The French really said "let's make Fanta sophisticated" and honestly? They pulled it off.
#6: Fanta Lychee
This one's delicate — floral, light, super refreshing. If you like lychee anything, you'll love this. It's the kind of soda that makes you go "wait, why don't we have this here?!" Yeah. That's the whole store, honestly.
#5: Fanta Zero Peach (Japan)
Zero sugar but you'd never know it. Juicy white peach flavor that's smooth and sweet without being overpowering. Japan just does fruit soda on another level, I'm convinced.
#4: Fanta Melon (Japan)
It's BRIGHT green. It looks like it should taste like a science experiment and instead it tastes like the best melon candy you've ever had. Japanese melon soda is elite and this is Fanta's take on it.
#3: Fanta Cream Soda
Nostalgia in a bottle. Creamy, vanilla-y, red-soda-shop vibes. This is the one that sells out every single time we restock it, so if you see it in stock... don't think, just grab it. You've been warned.
#2: Fanta Shokata (Romania)
Elderflower Fanta. I did NOT expect to love this as much as I do. It's floral and crisp and tastes like nothing in the American soda aisle. Sleeper hit of the century.
#1: Fanta Zero Pineapple (Korea)
The champion. Zero sugar, maximum tropical flavor. This is the one I reach for personally, and it's one of our fastest sellers for a reason — it tastes like vacation. If you only try one rare Fanta, make it this one. Grab it here
